Emergency Care

Although we typically see our patients via scheduled appointments, we understand that accidents can happen from time to time. If your pet needs urgent care, please do not hesitate to take them to our team. We ask that you please call us ahead of time. This way, we can provide you with instructions for how to care for your pet and transport them. It will also give us time to prepare for your pet. On the other hand, it will also allow us to redirect you to another hospital if we are already at maximum capacity. This will save you time and allow your pet to be treated as soon as possible.

What happens if my pet needs urgent care and you are closed?

Please reach out to our sister hospital, Animal Emergency Clinic of Durham Region. They are open overnight (from 7 pm to 8 am) on weekdays and 24 hours on weekends and holidays. You can call them at 905-576-3031. They are located in the city of Whitby at 1910 Dundas Street East, Unit B101.
