Deworming

Keep your pet healthy through regular deworming to prevent health issues caused by parasites.

The worms that can infect your pet are very dangerous. Worms can live inside your pet and wreak havoc, affecting important organs like the heart and lungs. Even if your pet stays indoors they still need to be protected from worms. To ensure your loyal companion stays in good health, we recommend deworming treatments and regular testing.

Do adult pets need deworming?

Yes. All pets need deworming regardless of their age, even if they’ve been dewormed before. Your adult pet should be dewormed once every 3 months. Deworming is a continuous and regular part of their healthcare.

Can I get worms from my pet?

Unfortunately, yes! When you deworm your pet you are protecting everyone else in your household. Some worms and diseases that your pet may develop are considered zoonotic. Zoonotic worms/illnesses can be transmitted between different species including from pets to humans. You should practice good hand washing hygiene after handling your pet and their feces.
