I graduated from the Veterinary Technology program at St. Lawrence College in 2019 and obtained my registration status shortly after. My favourite things about being a Veterinary Technician are helping take care of the patients that come in and that I am constantly learning new things from both my peers and clients. I love being able to take part in surgical procedures, lab work and getting to meet all sorts of furry friends. Here at East Oshawa Animal Hospital everyone is treated like family, which makes coming to work every day so much fun!
When I’m not at work cuddling patients as they recover from surgery or running around in the lab, I am at home with my family and my 4 dogs; Kia, Zoe, Alli, and Gator. We’re all either enjoying the country air on a hike in the forest, running and playing around the property, or relaxing inside cuddled by the fireplace. Some of my interests/hobbies include: photography, bird watching, hiking, drawing, mushroom hunting and learning about wildlife.
